We don't remove whole trees or stumps. We do trim hedges, cut back branches that are hanging over your gutters, roof or property line, and shape overgrown shrubs. For full tree removal we can recommend a local arborist.

We comfortably do hedges up to around 3 metres from the ground with our gear. For anything taller or up against power lines we will tell you up front and bring the right equipment.

For most hedges, twice a year, once in late spring and once at the end of summer, keeps them sharp. Conifers prefer one careful trim in late spring only. We can build a schedule around the species.

Most species (photinia, lilly pilly, murraya, buxus) recover from bare patches if we shape them carefully and give the inside light. Conifers do not, the bare wood inside a conifer stays bare. We will tell you straight which one you are dealing with.

Yes. We can trim your side only, or trim both sides if your neighbour is happy. We will check with you before doing anything past the boundary.

If a branch is touching or within 1 metre of the power line, that's a Powercor job (free for the homeowner). We can cut back everything outside the safety zone, and we will tell you straight up if it needs the energy company.

Yes. Most of our customers book hedges and overhanging branches together so the whole property gets done at once. The fixed quote covers the lot.

A standard front-fence hedge is 60 to 90 minutes including clean-up. A full perimeter hedge can run 2 to 3 hours. We give you a finish window when we quote.
